Lattice staining can be very time consuming. it took almost an hour to stain this panel with one coat of stain. a brush was used to fill in the lower parts and a roll was used for the outer planks.. The best way to stain a fence is to use a roller and a brush for larger areas, where a spray applicator is usually best for lattice work and other fencing spaced wider apart..
