What is the size of your new assembly table? it looks like a good size to build. i’m just making that leap to woodworking full time (gulp!) and setting up my shop a little better. it almost seems funny how i am building a new assembly table, and outfeed table at the same time you are, but good timing none the less.. Many hand-tool woodworkers, though, prefer a bench 1 or 2 inches lower, allowing more leverage for hand-plane and chisel use. if you’re mainly a power-tool woodworker, adding a couple of inches might make power-sanding and assembly operations more comfortable..
